I was talking to my Dad yesterday and he was telling me how important it is to be striving for something. I was raised in the Asian culture where striving and achieving means you are WORTH something. Your worthiness is based solely on your performance. Jesus would have been an abject failure according to this mindset. He was in a state of love and oneness with everyone. He wasn’t networking and TRYING to be anything but himself. He focused on spreading his message to the people. I was explaining to my Dad that I disagree, that our value is inherent and not based on anything external. I was telling Dad that I have value because I came into this world as something of value. I don’t think he heard me, which is OK. I know he loves me anyway.
I have goals and dreams, I have a very strong alignment with what I have come here to do in this life. I work every day towards creating those outcomes, but my energy is more in the flow. I KNOW that all the people, all my clients are lined up coming to me exactly right on time. I KNOW that the abundance I have coming to me is already here and I need only open my arms and my mind to receive it all. I live in the zone, which means I’m not a hamster on a wheel constantly trying, driving, freaking out if I don’t make the numbers. My sister is the opposite of me. She works 12 hour days, she does a great job supporting her family, my parents are so proud of her because she is a success! I’m an enigma to them. They can only measure success by tangible things like what I own, what I earn, how well known I am. It is hard to accept and love myself sometimes when I know I am completely misunderstood. I had to do a lot of inner work to love myself and know I am WORTHY and I will change the world, despite the people around me disagreeing with my path and not fully accepting who I AM. It took a lot of courage to say I’m not going to be who you want me to be, I’m going to be who I was born to be. I had to be OK with people judging me negatively. I had to learn be OK with people not understanding who I AM or what I do.
I work with people’s energy, I help people find their way back to their truth, their soul. You can’t put a price on that, it’s not quantifiable. I live in service to humanity, and that is what aligns with who I AM. My worth isn’t defined by numbers, dollars, striving to be something someone else wants me to be.
My thoughts and energy create my reality. I have balance, I live from the state of completion. I know it is already done, everything I seek is seeking me. It’s all arriving right on time. I am mindful of the direction of my thinking. Negativity is not allowed, EVER. Possibility is always encouraged and invited into my mind and life every day. I honor myself always, I never compromise integrity or dignity to please another. I am aligned. I speak my truth. I stand in my power. I will be who I was born to be, perhaps even achieve more than I dreamed possible.
Success for me is going to happen because I have aligned so completely with my life purpose, with the highest version of my higher self, which guides me in all things that I pursue and do (call it spirit, GOD, Source, the Universe, names don’t matter). I will achieve all I am meant to achieve because when I am in the space of alignment miracles happen, doors open, opportunities come to me. I remain fully on my path and don’t allow the opinions or judgment of others to distract me. I am fully in my lane running my race. Here I am, the dark horse making my move. I have my truth. I have stamina and speed and to those who expected nothing of me, they will be surprised at who I am, who I have always been.
There is something so powerful about accepting fully who you are. To stand tall in the face of adversity, to stay in your lane while everyone around you tells you who they think you should be and refuse to see who you are. You are all beings of light. You came into this world for a reason, not one person is born without a purpose and that purpose or soul growth has nothing to do with anyone but YOU. Striving has nothing to do with your value. Compromising who you are to make someone else happy is going to cost you. It will cost you your dignity, it might cost you your soul. It’s a high price to pay. It is time my friends to get on your own team. It all starts with YOU asking if what you are doing is aligned with your personal truth! Stop all the negative bullshit. Stop telling yourself what a disappointment you are. Know who you are and what you have come here to do. When you decide to stand in your truth, that is where you will find a strength you never knew you had. That is when you become who you were meant to be. Carry on, dream BIG, step confidently onto your path!
