People tend to discount themselves all the time. They discount their time, their value, their abilities and knowledge. They give so freely, but don’t nourish themselves with good food, positive thoughts, love, rest, and kindness. Our society has not encouraged us to embrace our beauty and strengths because it has been programming us to remain fragmented and separate. We are always looking to the left and the right. Comparing ourselves to others is a huge detriment to our personal story.
This showed up for me today. I was listening to a podcast interview, and this woman was talking about her spiritual work and how in a couple of years she has grown her you tube following, her workshops, her book sales and how she is invited to be on all these panels as a guest speaker and I got pissed off! I was totally jealous because I have done so much soul work to elevate myself, so much deep inner work to embody love and help others, but I have not yet gone there. I have not yet stepped onto the stage as the spiritual teacher I have come here to be. I was forced to examine the EGO aspect of this entire bullshit story I was telling myself about not being good enough, not doing enough. I was thinking about just folding and going back to a simple life running Marconic Energy and Life Coaching. I was thinking about stepping away from writing my book, blogging, and creating positive messages for my Facebook followers. I got quiet and did some serious reflection and energy clearing around this.
I asked myself what is really important to me? Is it the numbers? Is it the game? Is it recognition? What’s important is showing up for whoever is in front of me each day. It can be the cashier at the grocery store, the people walking their dog past me, the homeless people, my clients, my family. That is my soul purpose, to send the frequency of love and compassion into the world. It’s not the numbers, it’s not the workshops, my value isn’t measured by anything external. It is the one person I love and assist that matters. As their shift happens energetically, it ripples out and touches others. The shift of one elevates the collective.
I show up each day to elevate my frequency, to elevate my soul by being the best version of me. I show up each day eager to show a little more compassion and kindness to myself and others. I realized I am not in a race with anyone. I am right on time. I am exactly who I came here to be. I don’t require the recognition of anyone, because love is free to give and more powerful when it’s done not for the acknowledgment, but from that pure place in your heart. As I went deep into contemplating all of this, I felt my jealousy melt away and my heart expand. I was kind to myself. I felt the power of honoring right where I am on my path without judgment. I released the story that I’m not enough.
I honor my body with food that is going to nourish me and provide optimal health. I honor my mind by constantly learning and using my discernment around what resonates and what doesn’t. I honor my soul by following my heart and staying out of my head. I honor humanity by being present every day in the vibration of love for everyone I connect with. There is no agenda or goal. There is no measure of my worth. I elevate myself because I have chosen ascension as my path. I have chosen to be who I was born to be and to make choices that reflect spiritual mastery. The numbers don’t matter, the people do.
I wonder how many of us get caught in this competitive trap, one of our own design. We watch others “achieving” and feel a little less than. I want you to know that you are arriving right on time. You are learning every moment of every day something about yourself. You are moving the needle whether you realize it or not. Stay in your lane. Do what you have come here to do. Focus on choosing to be slightly better than you were this morning, or yesterday and be kind to yourself. I am here for you, holding space for all the dreams you dream for yourself. Pour everything you have into yourself, because you are worthy of LOVE.
