“Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.” Martin Luther King, Jr.
Many people I know are going through some difficult times, they are transitioning into new ways of being and stepping away from old programming and paradigms. Current events in the political and social arena are unfolding in such a way, causing us to pay attention and creating feelings of discontent, which are the catalyst to affect change within us. What can we do we ask? Should we march? Should we protest? Should we create a sign and raise our voice? True power to change the world resides within each of us, however it is not by reacting to fear with fear, or to shocking events with indignation and rage, that only creates more of the same. To have a global impact, we must look at these external events and notice what emotions they are triggering within us and why. We are experiencing these feelings because the external is a mirror for the internal work we have yet to do. That work includes recognizing the humanity of all people involved in the situations we are being triggered by, to step away from judgment. Judgment creates separation, separation creates isolation and fear, isolation and fear creates anger and violence, and the cycle continues as it has throughout history. To create change we must shift our perspective. We must realize the sphere of influence we have. We must do the internal work to stand in integrity, in unity consciousness, and love. To respond to every situation regardless of the depth of vulgarity or horror of it with compassion for our fellow man, rather than in judgment and anger which creates more of the same. The only way to combat negative energy is by raising our vibration and showing love for each other and for ourselves.
Be an example of living in a space of community and selflessness. Create change within ourselves by doing the soul work, by examining our reactions and triggers to situations and asking why we feel a certain way. This will shine a light on something within ourselves that needs to be worked out. The external world and our reality is a crystal clear mirror of what is happening inside of us. The lack of mental, physical and spiritual alignment creates a wobble so to speak in our energy field. If not corrected or addressed it manifests in lower vibrational experiences like illness, injury, anxiety, depression, anger, and the feeling of victimhood which serves no one. As we go deep into these less than desirable emotions and experiences, we start to feel separate and less than. We begin comparing ourselves to our friends and family and society in general feeling the like we are somehow victims and behind the curve. We begin creating more of the same physical and emotional experiences by focusing on these thoughts and by placing our attention there. Soon what was a mere passing thought easily dismissed, has created an emotional attachment and physical experience that begins to manifest as a result of that attachment. The spiral down continues.
The mindset of winners and losers, of the righteous and condemned, creates separation. In truth there is no separation, we are all one, we are all part of a greater picture. Humanity shares the common thread of energetic connection. Whether you choose to believe it or not, our behavior and beliefs affect the whole. We all have consciousness and although it seems we are all individuals in this game of life, our individual consciousness creates a global collective consciousness. That collective consciousness and heartbeat is measurable by the Schuman Resonance. There are 8 Schuman Frequencies that overlap human brainwave frequencies. The Earth is vibrating and resonating at the same frequency as our hearts and brains. The 8 Schuman frequencies correlate to our human brainwaves and heartbeat, this means that your thoughts matter, responding to situations from your heart matters. There is a geomagnetic field around the Earth which is a static field and between that and the surface of the earth are magnetic waves that are generated and trapped creating flux lines around the geometry of the Earth. Your thoughts may seem insignificant, however, they roll up to the collective, which in effect creates the vibration and resonance (these flux lines) around the Earth. Your individual thoughts are impactful beyond measure. As our heart rhythms sync, we are synching to the rhythm of the Earth. Our heart emits a frequency every time it beats, and has been scientifically measured up to 3 feet out.
In light of this knowledge, I am asking that we all be mindful of the thoughts, and opinions and energy we are creating and sharing with the world. In response to recent global, political, and social events, there is a power far greater than punishment or violence or protest. It is the power of love and compassion. It is knowing that another human being has shown up as only they know how. Make a choice to personally do better, focus on lifting your own vibration and thought patterns. Silence the critic and take the high road, not to be “better” than the events or people being judged, but to stand in truth and integrity and be an example for your fellow man. Others notice and respond to the behavior of the people around them. We have a responsibility to stop comparing and judging the choices and behaviors of other people, and respond as the highest versions of ourselves. We can choose to light the way by being the best versions of ourselves. The time is now to shift our perspective, to realize the answer lies within us. Bettering ourselves is the only way to lift our fellow man.
