Yesterday I woke up and asked the Universe “what miracles do you have for me today”? Then I opened myself up to receive whatever was to come my way. Miracle number one was the temperature in the morning when I walked my dog. It was a cool 75 degrees, which in Houston, in September is like a cool arctic freeze. As I turned a corner, a beautiful butterfly flew right up to me, as if to say hello and flew off. This is the 4th time this has happened, where a huge butterfly has literally flown right up to my face as if to say good morning while walking my dog, circled then flown off. I then met a friend for a Pondi Latte and coconut pancakes with fresh mango and strawberries, yogurt and syrup, probably one of my favorite breakfasts at one of my favorite restaurants. This beautiful friend Tiffanie is one of two friends who hosts The Joy Ride Show, a show for metaphysical people looking for a soft place to land to realize they aren’t completely bat shit crazy and to find comfort in the fact that there is a tribe of us out there willing to embrace them and share what our normal is with the world. Prior to that I spent an hour on a video zoom conference call with another friend reviewing our Marconic Recalibration protocol. We are both Marconic Practitioners. Marconic is an energy healing modality that allows us to create sacred space for your higher self to integrate into your physical body, it sheds Karmic debris, it raises your vibration by plugging you into the unified field (energetically) which consists of your personal field, the Earth’s auric field – the crystalline grid, and the energy of the universe. It is an honor for me to do this work and connect with other light workers who wish to raise the vibration of humanity and help people to release things that are holding them back in life. My day finished at Brene Brown’s new book launch event for her latest book Braving the Wildnerness. We received a free pre release copy of the book, spent an evening with 3 amazing girlfriends listening to one of my favorite authors talking about leaning into people to create connection rather than compartmentalizing people creating isolation and disconnection.
Our reality mirrors our expectations. When we are consumed by anxiety and fear, running an endless tape of everything that could go wrong, focusing on worry and creating mental stress for ourselves, the physical reality we experience tends to reflect that. We get stuck in a cycle of negativity which breeds more stress and mental anguish and it’s a loop that requires some mental discipline to break out of. I choose to live in the world of possibility. I believe the Universe is FOR me, which means every day I wake up and decide that what I am going to create and allow into my life is positivity and miracles. I create the energy of optimism, because I choose to energetically focus on thoughts that attract the highest and best outcome for me. I also pay attention to synchronicities, which I believe is the trail of bread crumbs the universe leaves us to that highest and best outcome. I’ll give you an example. I flew to Boston with my husband recently for a 1 week vacation. I had been searching online for a hotel, not realizing the hotels in Boston all cost a little over $300 a night. I’m searching and searching and this hotel called the Taj keeps coming up, and I keep ignoring it, looking for a better deal. I find a deal on Expedia for about $265 a night at the Taj so I book it not giving it much thought until I pull up and a doorman wearing white gloves opens my door and takes my bags. I quickly realize I have booked a 5 star hotel, and literally live the diamond life for 5 days turning into 14 due to a Hurricane hitting my hometown of Houston (the hotel reduced my rate further when I extended). The only word I can use to describe this hotel is posh. We ordered room service one night and they wheeled in a set table with china, sliver, flowers and linen table cloth. The location was right on the beautiful Boston Public Park and a bonus, in the shopping district. Believing the Universe is for me means I live in the zone. I walk into the hotel and the elevator door is open waiting for me, we go to restaurants and despite the crowd are seated right away, show up for a tour and the next tour starts in 5 minutes. My entire life is like this, and for those of you thinking sarcastically, lucky you, this isn’t luck. This a very intentional mindset, a result of keeping my vibration high by thinking positive, remaining in alignment with my core values, my health, and my spiritual practices. It is about believing in and expecting miracles then remaining open to receiving what the Universe responds with. This is about following our inner compass in all aspects of our lives creating alignment. It’s about dealing with fears and limiting beliefs we carry around from lifetime to lifetime like lead weight holding us down. This mindset takes discipline and work, but as you clear the weight of negativity, your vibration rises. Your story changes to one of possibility rather than dwelling in the quagmire of negativity. Once you master the mind, once you realize the challenges you are having are opportunities to deal with and release things no longer serving you, the weight begins falling away. The weight is emotional, physical, and psychological. Every experience is presenting in your life to create change. You get to decide whether it is going to be positive, whether to manifest and attract the magic or the mud. I can tell you that swimming in the magic is much easier. Ask the Universe, “what magic are you bringing to me today”? Then open your arms to receive it.
