Living in the density of the modern world is not for the faint of heart. It’s like a very intense video game where you die many times and get recycled back to the beginning of the game. The Earth School was designed to create soul growth through personal challenges all determined by you prior to coming into this life. The soul family was chosen, the experiences, the learning opportunities created by you and for you with every decision made. The chakras were nipped at the spine and capped to create a veil of forgetfulness of who you really are to create separation, duality, and experience that would propel you forward with expansion of consciousness and raising of your vibration with the goal to ascend higher. Ascension is the continual rise in energetic frequency and light quotient, the resolution of karmic ties and releasing of karmic debris. It is the spiritual mastery of pure alignment with the soul and higher self lineage to source.
As we have navigated this game called life, we have faced many challenges. There have been many ways we have been broken or defeated. We have been physically, mentally, or spiritually broken by circumstances beyond our control. A feeling of disempowerment persists. We seek comfort in the external pleasures of too much; too much alcohol, food, shopping, sex, exercise. It is the obsessive avoidance of the very thing that needs to be addressed which is our inner suffering and darkness. Each time we fail to honor ourselves or our truth, we are pulled further and further off center, like a rudderless boat drifting aimlessly in the sea. The further we drift the farther we fall out of alignment and our life reflects that. Reality mirrors our energetic frequency, our story, and our choices. Over time we slowly and unconsciously lose touch with ourselves, our greatness, and who we have come here to be.
It takes courage to pull ourselves back together because the process requires us to stand in our truth. It requires decisions that aren’t popular or mainstream. It means following the beat of our heart and not listening to the relentless chatter of the mind. The EGO/Mind wants us to play small, remain with the pack and not rock the boat. It’s easier to make your Mom, friend, boss, kids, or spouse happy by caving in and being who they want you to be. Do it for the sake of the kids you say, or family harmony, or whatever the reasoning is. Every decision diminishes the flame that is you. Your light dims and you kiss each piece of you goodbye. Eventually, there’s a nudge or knowing from the higher self that it is time to come back to center. At first, it’s ignored, what does that even mean anyway, coming back to center? Then the nudge becomes a hard shove as real life starts to push us into uncomfortable situations and present opportunities to make changes that align more with the heart. Maybe a divorce is forthcoming, or a job change, or the desire to shift things in our lives to create a better outcome. None of these choices are easy, in fact the unknown can be terrifying. It’s in the personal suffering, and darkness however that the caterpillar becomes the butterfly.
Alignment with the higher self requires believing in you and believing your truth. It is the knowing that what is being asked must be in alignment with who we are. Maybe our parents want us to go to med school or be a lawyer and our soul says we are artists and teachers or bakers! The internal pull begins of pleasing others versus honoring our soul. For those who have played the role of people pleasing, this is an internal tug of war that will tear you apart if you don’t align fully one way or another. Expect resistance. People don’t like it when you choose you. They don’t like it when you start exploring your own ideas about who you are and who you have come here to be. Breaking from the heard is viewed as dangerous and with great anxiety by the people around you. Despite the push back from everyone, BELIEVE in YOURSELF! You’ve got this! No one can take away the gifts and talents and dreams that you have! They are yours alone and when you are aligned with your heart and making choices that align with your personal charted course, you are unstoppable! The mastery begins. YOU MATTER!
Choosing alignment means standing firm in your belief system, it’s recognizing what resonates for you and what doesn’t. Alignment is also the awareness of what is yours and what belongs to someone else. Sometimes as empaths we carry the burdens and emotional stuff of others to make their lives easier. This codependent behavior benefits no one and in fact delays the soul growth for all involved. I highly recommend the book “Codependent no more”, you might recognize yourself on the pages. Taking back your power means giving back all the emotional stuff that belongs to others. They will resist and blame you for their suffering and try to guilt you into changing back into the old you. Don’t allow it. This is just the inner 2 year old in them throwing a tantrum and refusing to do their own inner work. Slowly over time, with consistent reinforcement, they too will be forced to look at their behavior and themselves. The outcome is theirs alone to decide, detach from the their choices.
Spiritual mastery is the mastery of self. It’s pure alignment and harmony with you and your higher self aspects to source. It is remaining in that column of light and self correcting if you feel like you are being pulled off center. It is a pure connection and knowing that you are exactly who you came here to be. It is living from a place of empowered BEING. It is understanding that you are enough, and knowing that we are here to help each other without sacrificing ourselves. We light the candle of another without diminishing our own. We touch the people around us by how we move through this world and navigate life. Spiritual mastery is one decision and moment at a time.
